How I can help you
I am a Qualified Nurse and Licenced and Insured Holistic Educator and Practitioner. I was introduced to the Grief Recovery Method in 2019, during my own recovery from a Head Injury which had lead me on a very challenging journey (physically, mentally and emotionally).
Attending the Grief Recovery Method Training gave me the opportunity to explore, witness and complete the emotional losses experienced during this journey and also to raise and work on past significant emotional losses encountered that had subtly stayed hidden within me.
I went on to complete my Advanced Training in April 2020 which has enabled me to deliver the programme Online and extend my geographical ability to work with clients far and wide.
The Grief Recovery Method is a scientifically proven, evidence based, educational programme which takes you through a specific step by step approach to enable you to heal both present and unresolved significant losses and will also equip you with the tools to assist you through future losses that you may experience.
I am also trained to deliver the Helping children with Loss Programme which educates parents, teachers and any adult who is involved or responsible for children and young adults, on how to communicate with “our” children and young adults in an effective, supportive and safe manner to enable them to process and work through loss.
If you are feeling lost, stuck, heartbroken, fatigued, anxious or just do not know where to start or who to talk to; please know that these feelings are natural and normal. I offer a safe and confidential space for you to gently work through what has kept you stuck and unable to be in the present moment. Don't wait for 'time to heal’, ‘keep busy’ or ‘be strong', call me for a no obligation, informal chat to talk about how you're feeling and see whether you feel this programme is right for you.

Over 40+ life losses can leave us feeling bereft
When we think of bereavement, we usually think of the death of a loved one. Most people looking for bereavement counselling or a grief coach only feel entitled to do so if someone close to them has died.
However there are over 40 different personal losses that can leave us feeling devastated, heartbroken, lost, hopeless and ultimately cause the same emotional and physical symptoms of grief.
The Grief Recovery Method is unique in that it is applicable to any and all kinds of loss. Each Certified Grief Recovery Specialist has been trained to guide grievers without judgement, criticism or analysis. We do not compare losses and we know that every griever is unique.
Not only can the action steps within the Grief Recovery Method be applied to any type of loss, they can be used again and again with any future losses that occur - once you have participated in a Programme, you will have all the tools you need to cope with loss later in life.

Testimonials "I had the pleasure of having Sara as my Grief recovery specialist working with me recently on line. She is the most amazing advanced practitioner. Throughout my time with her from start to completion I felt completely safe and supported to work through some lifelong issues that were very painful and complex. "Sara gave me time to work around my hectic work schedule and busy family life so that I would have the quiet moments to meet on line with her. Sara showed me the utmost compassion and kindness, with such knowledge and insight to help me move forward through my grief. "Sara gave me the confidence to work through each session and supported me with a gentle listening ear when I began working through some very painful experiences. I always felt safe. She had the knowledge, skills, insight and compassion to really help me on my journey. The GRM Programme is so helpful if you need to let go of things, I would highly recommend it. "Sara came into my life when I was trying to come to terms with my sons suicide. I have tried to help people during my working life as a police officer but nothing compared to the hurt that was inside me. She gently walked me through the "Grief Recovery Method" and although it was emotionally difficult at times ,with her expert help I came out the other side with the deep pain removed and a better understanding of how to deal with completion and grief. The method itself was very good but this lovely person with her knowledge and understanding made the whole process worthwhile. I can now take on the fond memories of my son without the hurt. Thanks again Sara" - M.W, 1:1 participant. "This programme has helped me so much after the loss of my mum. Not only have I learnt so much about grief, the myths and STERBS, but it has made me feel more complete with my loss. I find myself using everything I’ve learnt from this programme on a daily basis and it has given me a better understanding about my grief and how to support others when they are grieving. I felt 100% supported the whole way through with Sara and she pushed me to carry on even when it got hard. I felt completely comfortable opening up to her, which is so important when completing this programme. I would recommend this to anyone who has lost someone or experienced grief in their life" - Evie Clark, 1:1 participant. "I can't recommend Sara highly enough. Everyone should have her in their life!
